50/50 OAK & BIRCH

Four Barrow Bags – TWO BAGs full of Kiln Dried OAK Logs and TWO BAGs full of Kiln Dried BIRCH with a waterproof tie top delivered Free. Perfect If you don’t have a lot of space or aren’t able to store bulk bags or crates. They are the perfect size for narrow access

Kiln Dried Oak is generally considered one of the very best logs and much sought after. It burns fairly slowly with nice flames and produces excellent heat even when only embers are left. It is categorised as a heavy hard wood with a deep ridged dark brown bark and rougher to the touch

BIRCH burns really well and nice and hot and it’s a great option for smaller stoves as it lights very quickly generating heat almost immediately and has a high calorific value. Birch burns slightly more quickly than Oak but nevertheless generates a very good heat output, bright lively flames and a very nice aroma and because it lights very quickly it generates heat quicker.

PLEASE NOTE BY RESTRICTED ACCESS WE MEAN INDIVIDUALLY THEY FIT THROUGH NARROW ACCESS – THEY CAN REALLY ONLY BE MOVED AFTER DELIVERY ON A SACK BARROW OR TWO VERY STRONG PEOPLE CAN PULL THEM BUT THEY ARE DELIVERED ON A PALLET & DRIVERS ARE NOT ABLE TO INDIVIDUALLY MOVE THEM FOR YOU

All of the logs are 100% Kiln Dried OAK & BIRCH with an average of less than 15% moisture and suitable for most wood burning stoves.

We fill our barrow bags from our own Kiln Dried Oak & Birch Crates

Our Kiln Dried Logs should fit most wood burning stoves and the barrow bag gives you logs which are all a maximum of 25cms in length and in widths from 6-15cms
