These RUF BIRCH hardwood briquettes are hot and long lasting wood briquettes made only with compressed BIRCH HARDWOOD sawdust (NOT SOFTWOOD SAWDUST LIKE OTHERS ON THE MARKET). They ignite very quickly and burn longer with a beautiful bright flame. We have tested them and are very impressed. They are suitable for use in fireplaces, multifuel stoves and log stoves. BIRCH Briquettes are very low in moisture content less than 4%. Use with Kindling or Firelighters to start the fire and they do not spit and produce a really high heat output
They are very dense & compact, not like softwood briquettes which tend to be crumbly and messy.
Each “Individual Pack” of 12 Birch Briquettes is wrapped in plastic
Heat Logs should be kept in a dry environment and not left outside
